Photographer's Note

There isn't much reason to leave the highway and go into the small (pop about 100) town of Wyandra in SW Queensland but we did to have lunch in the park. The town started as a railway town but that is closed due to a collapsed bridge. Many of the houses are in ruins and the roof of the only pub has fallen in, maybe from a fire. The last victualler's (licensee) name is still over the door.
The future doesn't offer much for the town.
