«To Serve & to Protect» Serie - Image #10

Just when I turn a street corner, I saw this officer from the NYPD standing at a red light.

I've run the best I could with a backpack full of lenses, an operation I don't recommend... I already had my camera around my neck with the 16-35mm, which means I had to get very close to the motorcycle.

But it was sandwiched between two cars. The only chance I have to shoot it, is if it starts before the other vehicle. So I place myself in front of the first car, kneel on the street and at the same moment, the officer started and passed in front of me.

I was able to caught it between the two white lines, where I was waiting for it. The car I was blocking let me took my shots and never horn, which is another proof NY has changed...
