I took this photo the same day as the tree one previously posted. This walking path goes all around the lake area where there was previously a running lumber mill when I was a child. Now the ducks and geese, and several different kinds of heron live on the small islands in the middle of the lake area. I've always heard it called Hegewald Pond, after the owners of the mill, but some people just call it the "Mill Pond"
Table mountain in the background is one destination I haven't made it to the top of on my hikes with my sister. I hope I can make it to the top this summer, after getting back into hiking shape. She bought herself a new camera so maybe with her packing that with all the lenses and equipment, I just might be able to keep up to her!
I have to get in much better shape to make it to the top of table mountain, it's a 6-7 mile hike to the top, with the last 1 mile being straight up and a very steep angle. A picture of how high we made it last time I hiked it. For some more great images of the peak

Hi Lori
It's a pleasure to open this fine landscape shot. You have a little tiny miss in the sea/shore line with regard to a tilt. Beside that it looks great out there. Technically well made compo with use of the diagonal foreground and the distant mountain in the back.
Well, not so distant then, and entering from the right side - not too much of a hike I think. Nice compo - and after next summer let's have a view from the summit :-)
