A view of young ones that use ballet with birds. These young ones doing interpretive dance was delightful. I used no flash, just my 50mm wide open at 1.4. still good to see the young ones in the arts. Maybe there is hope for all of us.

Oh, yes, I do like this! If only I had the courage to attempt photographing such subjects and also had the courage to attack them with a big wide open "standard" lens and not be timidly thinking obsessively about depth of field, sharpness, perfect exposure and so on.....
This is brilliant and you have captured that "decisive moment" perfectly!

its a great idea to utilize the bright lights on the left, it would have been so easy to try and find a compo without those lights - but i'm glad you didn't. They add alot to the shot. wonderful and effective lighting on the woman's arms and face. beauty
