Photographer’s Note

This is one of the most beautiful scenery that my eyes saw when I visited Central Park. The peaceful environment make you feel that you are in a very special place.

I just only used crop and unsharp mask.

Gracias por presentarnos hoy una composicion magistral de uno de los puentes mas fotografiados de mundo. Este el Gastow Bridge. En mi opinion es uno de los secretos mejor guardados de NY, pero que todo el mundo conoce.

Hi Emile, It is hard to imagine the peaceful quiet scene is taken from the middle of the busy city. A well composed picture with nice layout and PoV. You have well included the two persons on the side of the water and the trace of the duck in this picture. A well taken picture.

Nice capture of this arched aspect of the bridge. A nice, romantic scene not usually one that you would associate with a busy metropolis such as New York. You have also captured the reflection and symmetry well. Good exposure and nice framing. Well done.

Qué bonita foto de The Pond en Central Park. Yo la hice desde el otro lado, y ésta casi me gusta más, queda fantástica rodeada del verde de la vegetación y los árboles.
Tiene unos muy bellos detalles, como la pareja sentada en la hierba y los patitos nadando y dejando su estela en el estanque.

Interesante puento denrtro de Central park. la verdad es que no tenia ni idea. Me gusta la reflexion en el agua y el detalle de la pareja sentada tranquilamente.

Who would guess this is New York? It looks like a scene from the countryside. I like the bridge over the river, complete with reflection. The couple picnicing in the sun tops off a wonderful image.

You use well the bridge and sourroundings in this compo, also the foreground placed well here. Of course the couple by the bridge is the major detail of interest and adds to the total result. Nice one emile

A lovely spring shot with natural hues and a very laid back look. The two people picnicking appear as if in some old landscape painting and the extra dash of colour also enhances. I like your POV and framing here, with the bridge neatly off centre and a good play of light and shadow in the foreground. Well seen and captured, Emile.

I agree, lovely place, relaxing with all these greens, it's a bit strange to see such an "olde english" bridge in the middle of Manhattan, but it fits well to the greens around, I like too the balance between people on the bridge to the right and people sitting under it.

Una de las cosas que me gustan del Central Park es que hay algunos rincones en los que uno parece tener la sensación de no estar en el medio de una ciudad como NYC.

Y pienso que tu foto ha capturado precisamente esa sensación. La composición con esas personas de picnic también ayuda ayuda mucho con eso.

La exposición es muy buena.
