Introducing the Kids Week
This must have been the longest wedding I was invited to - many, many hours spent eating, talking, drinking and (of course) taking pictures.
I usually prefer to follow the guests instead of the bride and groom - it's much more interesting seeing what friends & family do in such circumstances.
This little boy caught my attention because he looked so pensive, so undecided - the three girls were decidedly stealing the scene, and he didn't really know what to do - he just kept staring at them...
My experience with weddings is that they're fun when you're a kid (you get to see your cousins, to eat the cake, to run around and crawl underneath the tables...), but as soon as you grow up and everybody starts asking you when it's going to be your turn, the fun is practically over.
This is a scanned version of a b/w photo, shot on Ilford FP125 with my analogue Nikon. I just adjusted the sharpening and eliminated some blemishes here and there.
