Photographer's Note

Ol49 was one of most popular steam engines in Poland. They were produced by Fablok factory in Chrzanow, Poland, from 1951 to 1954. Total number of built locomotives is 116, many of them was still in regular PKP service in early 90's. Until now about 35 remained, among them only few are operational, handling the last in Europe scheduled steam railway line in Wolsztyn.
