Photographer's Note

On the northern shore of Södermalm island you will find Monteliusvägen.
A 500-meter long walking path with a magnificent view of Lake Mälaren, City Hall, and Riddarholmen. The path is lined with charming houses on one side and a beautiful view on the other. This is probably the best view you can get of Stockholm as of whole. Along the walkway there are small parks which are nice to have a sit down in, and on the walkway itself there is also picnic tables .

The walk is named after Professor Oscar Montelius, an archaeologist and member of the Swedish Academy. He lived in Stockholm from 1843 to 1921.
