Photographer's Note

Good Morning Friends,

You have to visit the Scottish Borders in autumn to experience the beauty of its countryside and its colours.

This photograph was taken last year during an excellent, autumn TE Get-together at Peebles. We had just been to visit the ancient remains of Melrose Abbey and took a slight detour, along the banks of the Tweed, to investigate a geocache location.

As you can see, the road lead beneath these majestic trees, casting off their green summer coat for one of rich browns and oranges. The road was picking up the colours, too.

We just felt lucky to be there!

By the way, we did find the geocache!

Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)
