Photographer's Note

Here under another style, Lille with her multiple facets.

Lille is a true architectural heritage, here the last born of its districts: Euralille.
Built in 1991 contrary to its neighbors, this district of concrete, metal and glass where the futuristic lines of this new "piece of city" became the symbol of the change of the old industrial agglomeration in tertiary metropolis.

In foreground, "Les Tulipes de Shangri-La 2003" work of the artist Yayoi Kusama made out of concrete for the exposure: "Lille 2004 - European Capital of the Culture".

In background on the left, "the Boot of Christian de Portzamparc" representing an immense "L" to point out the first letter of "Lille" or the shape of boot to put a great blow at our ideas;]
This tower shelters the Crédit Lyonnais.

Hope you enjoy this two artworks like I adore it.
