Photographer's Note

Macchu Picchu or the Lost City of the Incas is a Pre-Columbian Inca site. Machu Picchu was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. Its primary buildings are the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. This part shown in the photo are the royal residences.

All the structures straddle the mountains all the way to the top. The structures are terraced and spaces within the mountains' original mass or core are minimal.
