Puerto Vallarta originally was a small town of cobbled streets, which has grown in recent decades because of the tourism. Today houses an international airport, a cruise ships terminal, many hotels, restaurants, a malecon with sculptures, etc.
Its population is of about 200 000 inhabitants.

Bonjour, cher Pedro,
J'aime bien ce genre de prise de vue, il nous plonge au coeur de la ville, comme une impression d'être là.
Les immeubles sont plus contemporains, les voitures modernes, les voies encore pavées. Très bel effet d'ombre et de lumière.

Fine capture of this interesting urban scene. I like the point of view and the perspective. Good management of the light and shadow contrasts. Fine rendering of the textural detail in the cobbled roadway.

Il fut un temps où c'était une destination privilégiée pour les vacances d'hiver des Québécois. Je comprends très bien pourquoi en voyant cette très jolie rue.

We know Puerto-Vallarta since the 70th here in Israel, mainly due to a TV series called here "The love-boat" which was a comedy about life on board the cruise-vessel.
Now we get to see here the inner urban part of town.
Indeed, old cobbled-stones on street, and white decorated houses, beautiful sight for tourists, locals as well. The sculpture in the WS worth a post of its own as main photo, my humble opinion.

living here in Western Canada, we have SOOOOOOOO many people travelling to Puerto Vallarta, all year round. However, I've never been here myself.
and all the photos ive seen of this city are taken from the beach or the hotel. This is the first time i've actually seen the city streets and buildings. so obviously i like this one because its so different. bright and clear photo despite the harsh lighting at mid day. cheers
