Fraser Canyon

The next day we drove from Kamloops to Vancouver, but we chose to take the scenic drive, so I’ll need to dedicate my next couple of posts to the wonderful scenery of British Columbia (BC). Here’s a view of the Fraser Canyon, just east of the town of Lillooet. Fraser Canyon was formed where the Fraser River, the longest river within BC (1,375 km), descends through several gorges in the Coast Mountains before it reaches the Fraser Valley and ultimately the Pacific Ocean near Vancouver. The photo is a panorama shot made with the automatic panorama mode of my camera.
