Bonjour Serge,
L'étendue de l'endroit donne de la profondeur à la composition. L'utilisation d'un trépied et d'une longue exposition permet de voir les détails des immeubles. Cela a aussi un effet spécial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Serge,
A beautiful expansive view of Old Montreal at night. Perfectly exposed with excellent colours and sharpness. The snowy area well captured in light and shadow and with the many footprints gives depth and perspective to the composition.

Hello Serge,
The yellowish sky enhances the atmosphere created by the lights of various colours from the buildings and the light reflected in the snow. The long exposure worked well and captured a rather cosy ambience, despite the probably low temperature. Someone else to the left seems to have had the same ideas as you.

Hello Serge,
This looks very cold but a lovely night time shot of Montreal in winter. The lit buildings give an atmosphere of being warm cosy inside.

Bonjour Serge,
A great night and winter shot of Montreal. There's a lot of snow! And it makes a nice contrast with the warm glow of the city. The right hand side includes a fellow photographer as well. The sharpness is perfect also.

Cette vue nocturne du vieux Montréal est bien agréable avec ces monceaux de neige accumulés.
Il ne devait pas faire très chaud pour réaliser cette prise de vue.

there isn't really anything special in terms of buildings here, but its not about that...its about the atmosphere, the mood, the lighting, the colors, the sharpness and details, it has alot going for it. A fine winter shot as you're battling the cold! cheers

A nice piece of winter night shot in town, perfect timing with good enough illumination and range of colours. I like the exposure, detail you've achieved with the foreground snow to complement the whole pic. Very nice work but really bitter cold!! Congrats
