Photographer's Note

David H. at large....

Polonaise went soft… Again…
Going soft… Going David Hamilton…

Subconsciously, unwillingly – I found myself copying him to a great extent… Under the rough, prime coat of a moron who brutally pushes his lens into the people’s faces – there is (lying quietly) a soft jerk… Me… Another me… A yellow mellow buttered toast of soft images…

The David Hamilton aficionado…

Is this even a photography ?
Or, is it rather a pixilated, soft brushed horseshit ?

Vaseline…
Yes… A vaseline… That’s what it is…!!!

Still… A vaseline that is a gazillion times better than digital registration of the buildings and bushes by the river which is ( in most cases) nothing more than a typical, virtual certificate of the financial ability to buy a camera…

Oh, well...

There are always these yellow makakas readily available…
Please, don’t spare me those…
It works better than a Prozac…

Excerpts from the previously posted critiques:

the mood of being stuck in slow traffic (almost like being a part of a cattle drive),
…………………………………………….
… i hope isnt you the driver???
…………………………………………
yes, i can feel hamilton's mood in your shot.
you shot this through a windshield?
…………………………………….
George, don't you know it's not considered acceptable to take pictures of your subject from behind. You have to stand in front of them and shoot them head on. Everyone knows that!
Definitely photography. And painting, too. Two in one. With gas prices the way they are, that's a good deal.
…………………………..
See you in the passing lane, George.
……………………………….
Hamilton ?
Hell, no…!!!
It's damn yours !
………………………………….
Hamilton..? Yeah, sure…
Give some red to Polonaise and he'll know what to do with it…
……………………………………………
Hamilton? No. Why? G.G.
I am thinking to the solitude. In the traffic, in the city.
………………………………….
Those red dots… Like the eyes of the funny creatures…
