Photographer's Note

Cote-du-Lac was during long time an entry port for the imports to Canada. In 1812, important fortifications were built in order to protect the river acess. The picture shows the place were we can find the oldest canal in Canada, the fortification on the background was built by the English in the beggining of the XIX century.
On my last weeks in Canada I had the pleasure to spend a lovelly day with Charles and his daughters. They showed me their city. On our way out we met the girl which is a guide in the park, "elle nous a transporte dans le temps avec son costume et ses manieres delicates...
