Photographer's Note
This is Front Street in front of Toronto's main transportation hub, the Union Railway station. The golden glow on the station comes from the Royal Bank Tower across the street, its glass walls are coated with gold film. The statue in front of the station is the “Monument to Multiculturalism” by Francesco Perilli, it was donated to the city by the Italian-Canadians. The modern condo tower visible on the left side called the “”L-tower” after its architect, the celebrated Daniel Libeskind, who designed the silly extension of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) called The Crystal.
