Photographer's Note

A capture I'd made a few years ago in the museum of the famous antique city Aphrodisias in Western Turkey.
Those who follow me here at TE will see many captures I'd made and still making in this wonderfull city of antiquity.
Due to the quite high quaklity marble founds not much far away from the city, in the antique times, citizens of the city created wonderfull scuptures and through the Roman period, the rulers didn't ask the citizens of Aphrodisias to pay any taxex.
Though they concentrated themselves in their art and created wonderfull artworks which are now exhibited there in two museums with many halls.
Here the young man at the center -once upon a time the director of the museum- invited the kids from neighbouring cities and villages, dressed himself and those kids with selfmade dressing imitating the dresses of the antiquity and made long tours in the museum, explaining them the sculptures and artworks.

Due to this tight contact, many kids from this region decided later to study archaelogy !

Aphrodisias is enlisted in the international list of UNESCO within the worlds cultural heritage.
