Photographer's Note

A scenery which you can see this days almost everywhere in Anatolia.
A tradition whicht dates back to many many centuries.
Drying hot paprikas and corn on the walls of the houses, in order to use them in coming winter days.

I've made those captures on the wall of an old stone house in Karacasu, close to the antique city of Aphrodisias.

After a few days more they will -either without any treatment, or after having been ground- put in glass jars and used during following autumn or winter days.
