Photographer's Note

Another capture from my trip, end of Octoberto Diyarbakir in South-Eastern Turkey.
This birdseye view shows one of the bridges over the river Tigris, built centuries ago and still in use.
Almost every visitor to Diyarbakir comes to this point and makes captures as rememberamnces to this wonderfull city.

The Tigris is the eastern of the two great rivers that define Mesopotamia, the other being the Euphrates. The river flows south from the mountains of southeastern Turkey through Iraq and empties into the Persian Gulf

Cities -and mainly Diyrbakir- in Southeastern Turkey has still great problems.
As the Kurds living there are suffering since centuries under the pressure of the Governements. Both before 1924, during the Ottoman period and also today.
I've spent there 3 wonderfull days with a group of friends.
Within only 3 days, I have made around 700 captures and shall continue to share them with you coming days.
