Photographer's Note

One of the old houses of İstanbul.
I made this capture on the Asian part of the city, quite close to many new and modern appartement buildings.
This one flat house is at least 200 years old but still in use.
The dish TV antenna at the top is a sign that they have even a TV in the house.

By the way the round balcony at the top is a typical element of many old houses in İstanbul called "Hayat" . Which means "Life".
It was a part of this typical architecture, where people had their seats in a round form and enjoyed their teas or caffees while enjoying the view around this balcony. Therefore the name "life".
