Photographer's Note

A picturepack with 3 elements.
Showing different details of old wooden doors of Diyarbakir with metal doorknobs and other metal decorations.
Each of them not less than 300 years old.

Imgine, if they have been used twice a day, it means they have knocked within those 300 years around 219.000 times !
And still in good condition, still in use !

Cities -and mainly Diyrbakir- in Southeastern Turkey has still great problems.
As the Kurds living there are suffering since centuries under the pressure of the Governements.
Both before 1924, during the Ottoman period and also today.
