Photographer's Note

A picturepack with two elements.
Taken this morning during my daily walk along the shore of the Sea of Marmara, on the Asian part of İstanbul.
Two wooden houses, each around 114 years old and still in use.
For shure it's not easy to keep those great wooden houses intakt but considering that -due to ageold traditions- many families (related to each other) are living in those houses, it seems to be managable.
On the other side all those old houses are wellknown with many famous poets, writer, scientists etc who lived once upon a time in those houses.

By the way, been built in the year 1906 , still in use and very well kept.
It's architect was August Carl Friedrich Jasmund from Prussia.
