Photographer’s Note
This is my favorite bucther shop in Amman, Jordan. I had some very nice cultural exchanges with this team of butchers, very happy to introduce myself to this freshly arrived cow. OK, I did not framed the event in the proper way. I should have taken the picture from below the head of the cow and I should have adapted the DOF according to that... I am very upset. But teh moment was so fast... and I have to admit, altough these guys were very nice with me, I was a bit shy... the size of the knife was impressive and this mood of joy while cutting part this cow was impressive too...

Hello Geraldine,
Congratulations on an original and realistic shot of daily life (and death). This may upset some, but I find it highly interesting, as well as entertaining. I love the joy and pride of the man to the left, whereas the man to the right, with his blood-stained shirt, grabbing his huge knife, looks rather dangerous.

Que ces quatre personnages sont intéressants : du sourire chaleureux ( et commerçant ?) de l'homme de gauche, à l'attitude décidée et sanguinolente de jeune de droite et en passant par l'apparente indifférence de l'homme au centre et le regard en coin du dernier .
C'est une belle composition vivante d'une scène de vie courante.

Bon Géraldine, là je suis désolé mais il va y avoir un pb entres nous. En effet, je n'oserai plus oser poster un commentaire tellement tu as placé la barre trop haute pour moi.J'ai essayé de m'attaquer à une scène similaire mais mon résultat n'arrive pas à ta cheville. (cf ici)
Bon ben la route est longue et les marches encore trops hautes.
