Photographer’s Note
Jerash, formerly known as the Roman city of Gerasa, is one of the most impressive sites with remains from that period. Here a few pillars from the big temple for Artemis.
I was hesitating to erase the little column at the bottom for the sake of the balance but I decided not to do it since I don't really like tampering too much with pictures. I hope you like it anyway.

Hello Hendrik,
That's an original point of view : I like it. Colors are good, warm for columns and deep for the sky.

Hello Hendrik.
Composition without this little column probably would be more clear, but, IMHO, it doesn't affect the photo much. I like your original and monumental POV. Columns look great in the contrast with clear blue sky.

Dag Hendrik,

Yes we do like it.
That is a very nice composition.
I have seen similar shots with skyscrapers or palm trees but never with the columns.
Beautiful colors.

Hello Hendrik
well this low pov certainly does add a lot of dynamcs to your composition. I like the way these columns are turned into some sort of trees overlooking us. TFS

Sometimes all one has to do is just look up. The columns almost looks like trees and the simplicity of the shot is its strongsuit since there is a fine contrast between the columns and the vivid blue sky. Very well spotted and taken.
