Al Deir (le Monastère)
Voici le plus grand monument de Petra (2300 m² de surface !).
Vous ne l'atteindrez qu'après une longue marche, que l'on peut qualifier de fatigante !
Mais le trajet en vaut la peine.
Ce temple (ou tombe, on ne sait pas très bien) a été un important centre de pèlerinage.
Durant l'époque byzantine, il fut utilisé comme monastère, d'où son nom actuel.

Very nice picture. I would cut down lower part of the photo a bit bu overall - it's good !!
