Photographer’s Note
Le Monastère possède la plus grande façade tombale de Pétra, mesurant 50 m de large et 45 m de haut. Malgré son nom, il fut construit comme monument tombal et acquis vraisemblablement son nom à cause des croix gravées à l'intérieur. Comme le Khazneh, la structure consiste en deux étages couronné d'une urne.

on n'a pas l'habitude de voir la célébrissime façade de Pétra de cet angle là, c'est tout à fait original. Ce point de vue montre d'autant mieux l'intégration du monument dans son environnement, c'est impressionnant. D'autant que la lumière qui vient se poser dessus est très belle.
