Photographer’s Note
Triclinium/Obelisk tomb
“You have passed the Tower Tombs (Djinn blocks). A Greek inscription indicates that a Nabataean family built these in the 1st century AD. You are standing in the Bab Al-Siq in front of the Obelisk or ‘Nefesh’ Tomb, which was carved by the Nabataeans in the 1st century AD, slightly earlier than the bottom storey classical style Triclinium (banqueting hall). At the top are four pyramids or ‘Nefesh’ as well as a niche with a statue in bas-relief, symbolic representations of the five people buried in the tomb.”

Serghei,
This is a great shot of this amazing architecture. The inclusion of the horse and cart in the foreground was a good decision. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The play of light and shadow here is great creating nice contrast for the shot.

Hi Serghei,
this VERY colourful, VERY sunny photo creates a special "bright" mood :) I like it very much. And the composition is very good!

Hi Serghei
Good timing for this capture of the horse cart in front of the famous Petra monuments. Nice light control and colors with correct sharpness

Hello Serghei,
A picturesque scene is nicely captured!
The really ancient architecture - if that is the correct term in this case - has great interest value, and is recoded with impressive details...
Vivid colour and a fine composition!

Hi Serghei,
The presence of the people and of the horse is adding life to the scenery. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the Obelisk tomb. The early evening light is enhancing the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hi Serghei
I have no clue of this vehicle is also called a Tonga like in India, but there it would be pulled by a donkey. You have nice picture with with great DOF and sharpness. One could argue that giving the horse more space in front could make the picture better, but possibly you could not do so. Well composed and executed.
Best regards
Urs
