My guide was so kind enough to let me take a photo of him. He is one of the members of the Jordan Tracks company in Wadi Rum. They offer professional guide services throughout the region. I highly recommend to anyone visiting this part of the world that they get in touch with them. They have an excellent reputation and I was witness to it.

The photo was taken very close to 12pm, hence the extreme light and the brightness of the picture. I know that one of the major rules of photography is to simply avoid picture taking around noon. But truth be it, Wadi Rum is such a fantastic place that even in the middle of the day with such an intense heat, all I wanted to do was shoot photos to "bring back home". Obviously the best images of that trip were taken late in the day, but every now and then a "decent" one would come up, like this one.
