Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken one afternoon in Wadi Rum. Our guides took us to an overlook to witness Wadi Rum's famous sunsets. They really are impressive, when being at the top of these rock formations and you see how big Wadi Rum is from up there you cant help but feel how your existence is so small!
The picture is a little noisy, any clues how to avoid this next time? Is it the poor light conditions that causes this? My ISO Ratings is 400, is it too low for these light conditions? Any advice would be great!

Well known place from Lawrence of Arabia. Beutiful sunrise with a good composition with the person adding.
About your noise: What ISO did you use?

Though the picture is noisy, but I guess this imperfection has added to the mystery of the picture. Sometimes imperfect is more beautiful than the perfect. Nice POV and wonderful use of light.

Hi Thomas, I like the light in this shot, particularly how it catches the human figure. It brings a mellow mood to the photo. The almost lunar landscape is also attractive. Perhaps there's just a bit too much burnt-out sky - I would crop it a bit if I were you. Otherwise, a great image.

Very impressive photo you have there, the composition is superb, and the sunset definitely legendary.
Regarding the noisem, it is indeed due to the ISO 400 rating.
In order to lower it at, say ISO 100 or 200 you could open up the apperture more (f/22 is very small, what lens are you using?). that way you could still maintain the same shutterspeed to avoid movement blur yet reduce the nose.
Shooting RAW mode and post-processing the image could also have saved it, but I must point out that having an extremely powerful light source in the image will definitely hamper the darker areas. Using HDR might be a very good practice under any high dynamic range conditions such as this one.

Thomas,
A fotografia está linda. Não apenas pelo aspecto artístico da composição mas também pela excelente técnica apresentada na composição. Muito boa.
