Photographer's Note

A Lioness in the open-ground of the Ramat-Gan Safari.
Only 6km from home there are several lions in a relatively wide, well protected area, see this in the map at 32.041, 34.8282 ( I suggest to take the small "yellow-man" and go along the inner road of the den).
In the WS, "her husband" lion in full profile, across the electrified barb-wire, from a relative close distance – than, I got scolded by the zoo-keeper's loudspeaker because opened the car window for this photo… but it’s the only way to see lions so close.
Once upon a time, 33 years ago the lions were able to walk on the road, around the cars, and in that first visit of mine, a curious young lioness was only 30cm from my car's window while other lions were under a tree few meters away. I remember this as yesterday's.

Both pictures are RAW converted to JPEG, cropped sides for a better composition, focal length of 53-56 mm.
