Photographer's Note
Rehovot was once called "the city of red sands". Red sands are pretty good for growing citrus (so they say, I wouldn't know), Oranges, mostly. So for many years this city was surrounded with orchards. Nowdays there are almost no orchards left...
That day I went with a friend for a walk, for an important talk. Just outside the city, we went through the fields and the remaining orchards for a couple of hours. It was getting late. We saw a small hill and went towards it, while dark-Grey clouds were gathering above us. When we finally got there, it was quite a sight: a bare tree, standing over those tiny yellow 'wintery' flowers.
I took many pictures that day, this was one of my favorite moments.

Interesting place , and nice colors .
It has something bizarre , due to the big contrast between the dead upper portion and the colorful lower portion.

A fine and well made nature detail Tom. Interesting with the misty background and fine details included by the foreground and the trees. Nice one

HI Tom
The red sand and the yellow flowers fits well together. Details are impressive as well as the colours. I like the atmosphere there. Well done!
P.S. You can use a bigger format,(800x600) for your photos.
Best regards
Denis!

Hi Tom,
Very nice colors and superb misty effect in the background. The saturated colors, the sharpness look wonderful.
Best regards. Salvator.
