A newly painted wall with the red letterbox standing out.

This is a traditional colour for old buildings in the area which gradually calms down as it weathers.

The road runs beside the River Esk - on the North side really, not the west as shown on the sign.

Even the graffitti on the end wall doesn't spoil the colours.
