Photographer's Note

"We strive to have clean, working and friendly airports, every day for every user. We are responding to rising customer expectations about the quality of the services we provide.”
(Stephen Nelson, Chief Executive Officer, Stansted Airport)

Is that’s so Mr Nelson, next time I arrive to the airport at midnight and have to wait for six and a half hours for my next flight, I’d like to find some chairs at the airport. I’m really not interested in your inability to stop homeless people spending nights in your chairs, and am sure removing chairs is not an option – a letter to the government or the police might do.

Yes, I will fill in my complaint using your website form – but also expecting to find more empty chairs next time… or do you expect me to walk around the airport and drag all my belongings with me the whole night, like a zombie?

One can only fall asleep next to your boring advertisements and leaflets... provided they're lucky enough to find somewhere to sit.
