Photographer's Note

The next in the series and first in a mini series of the River Holme. The River Holme Flows down from the Pennines past Digley Reservoir down the Holme Valley, through Holmfirth and through my small village of Brockholes. The river flow is very low at present due to the lack of rainfall in England this summer, normally this scene would have a raging water fall instead of the small one you see here and i would not have been able to stand with my tripod where this was taken. There are many riverside walks which take people from near the source of the river further downstream all the way to Huddersfield.

This shot was taken with a tripod on the river bank, taken with a ND*4 and a Polariser, shot taken around 2pm in cloudy conditions, allowing the longer exposure time.
