There are many amazing pieces of artwork in this gallery, this is only one. I liked the typical mood of British weather and Victorian scenery that told us about a lost era. The painting is St Martin in the Fields, 1888, by William Logsdail. Pay attention in its details.

I have really enjoyed perusing this excellent painting, which has been so well captured, by you, from an interior location!
There is so much information included, by the talented artist, that it takes a lot of time to assess it all! The differences in social classes, the various occupations of the working classes, the strong, proud buildings and, of course, the revelation of the weather conditions, are all there to be seen!

Hello Jorge, Beautiful painting with many fascinating details from the life in Victoria era. It would be interesting to take a picture in exactly the same place. When I go to London one day, I will try. When I hear the name: St. Martin in the Fields, at once I think about the fantastic chamber orchestra founded by Sir Neville Marriner. It is very famous. Charming view of this girl, like from Andersen fairy tale but with the flowers instead of matches.

The talented artist has nicely captured this Victorian era scene on a cold wet day. The flower girl in her clean but working class clothes contrasts with the wealthy child at left who is better dressed. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!
