Photographer's Note
The National Trust managed sub-tropical valley garden of Glendurgan.
One of the best of Cornwall's characteristic valley gardens. The garden is an enchanting display of rare and exotic trees and shrubs, all year round.
One of its' most exciting features is the cherry laurel maze, pictured in the centre, dating back to 1833. Yes, 1833!
The garden was created in the 1820's and runs down to the tiny village of Durgan and its' beach.
Sorry about the washed out sky, yet again; that's English weather for you.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean,a lovely place with the typical colors and flowers of the start of springtime,it's a pity for the bad exposure, the sky is washed...ok...but the brightness on the clear flower is over the highest limits too....ehehe...no problem, nobody is perfect and the view is wonderful. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Good morning Jean,
A meticulously cared garden, beautiful shaped and interesting patterns in the mid-slope.
The pond is naturally in the lower point added depth to the compo. from the POV chosen.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hello Jean,
Don't worry about the sky, it hardly features in your photograph.
Your elevated view of the garden is delightful.
You have shown us the lake, the 'amazing maze' and lots of attractive, blossoming trees, all nicely included in the one frame.
It looks a delightful place to visit.
My warm regards,
Bev 😊

Hello Jean,
This garden is remarkable and it's nicely balanced composition. The washed out sky doesn't bother me much but I find the photo generally a bit pale, so I tried a WS. I hope you won't mind.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Jean,
The washed out sky has no real impact on our enjoyment of the composition. I like the framing and point of view with the maze rising up the hillside to the focal point offered by the tree. Colours are well rendered and agreeable to view and the clarity excellent indeed.
