Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday, I mentioned that Llandudno had the longest pier in Wales so today, I will share the pier with you.
Believe me, it is a much better, clearer photograph here .
This is a view along the pier where the low sun was creating long shadows, to emphasise the lovely patterns on the wrought iron fencing.
Though sunny, it was cold on this particular morning so not many people were about.
As a workshop, I will show a view of the pier revealing how it stretches out into the sea, competing with an off-shore wind farm.
Thank you for stopping by; have a great day, Bev :-)

The composition is excellent with all the different elements nicely placed in the frame. The shadows cast by the railings are very attractive and supply a useful lead-line into the image. The couple in the mid-ground enliven the scene and make a useful focal point. Very good technical realisation.

The fence is nicely designed and also casts a an attractive long shadow. Furthermore the nearest part forms a diagonal which creates a kind of dynamism. As always the inclusion of a few persons make the view a lot more interesting. The person on the blue bench creates a nice atmosphere by so obviously enjoying the sun even on a cold day in February. The wind farm in the WS is interesting. It's still a fairly unfamiliar look but we had better get used to it for the sake of the planet.

Very interesting and attractive details!
Very beautiful and agreeable picture!
Special regards to the exposure, soft colors, chosen pov and composition!
The shadows of the fencing on the wooden floor really look great!
TFS - congrats,

Bonjour, chère Bev,
Serait-ce la promenade des Français, à l'instar des promenades des Anglais sur nos plages françaises !!! ;o
Un joli moment où le soleil va venir nous annoncer la venue du printemps.

Only the eyes of a photpographer would see those patterns, three of them to be precise:
First and most noatable is the iroun-fence in white, beautiful wrought pattern. Than, its shadows on the deck, super-clear sghadows.
And last one, and distant are the brown and blue benches set for the benefit of vivtors wish to enjoy the sun and sea-breeze.
Lovely place for a clam stroll and doing big "nothing" on the seafront.
Bravo for that premeditated photo.

You second picture with the pier and the windmillpark in background make your picture attractive.
But you main picture is splendid and you play excellent with light and shadows
Also a lovely perspective and depth picture.
The people is a nice addition for the scale.
An excellent composition.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice day,

As you noted, the main elements of this picture are the shadows of the parapet. The two old men complement this in a very pleasant way.

J'aime beaucoup la petite histoire que raconte cette photo. J'aime ce beau couple qui se tient encore par la main comme à leurs débuts. J'aime aussi la longueur des ombres au sol.

This is a well composed shot. A fine play with light and shadows and nice graphical effect of the pattern. You timed the shot very well to get the two persons walking down the pier in a perfect position. Excellent:) TFS.

Well observed shadows on the deck. A very beautiful day in your capture, perfect to walk and relax at the sea side. Well taken.

I like the repetitive patterns in the shadows of the fence thrown by the sidelight from the right. Good sharpness and density levels. Clean whites and solid blacks. The people add scale. Tfs!

The long dark shades of Europe threatening British citizens, and even those who have the toughness to sit out there despite low temperatures... :-)
See you on the continent after your brexit, you're always welcome!

Very nic capture of this pier in Wales.
The deep shadows at right part adds a fine taste to your compo.
TFS and best regards

per essere una foto fatta in febbraio è molto luminosa, le persone si godono il sole.
La foto è bella, mi piace anche quella del ws, lo sguardo si sofferma sempre sull'ombra della ringhiera, è incredibilmente attraente.

Nice to see the longest pier in Wales on a clear day. The view along the pier with shadow falling giving out beautiful pattern and details. Thanks for sharing and kind regards,

This kind of pier is typical of UK, and I like how you kneel down to have the railing and its shadow creating a great pattern on the ground. I also like the walking men (Len at right?)filling the empty space and giving life to the picture

Hi Bev,2 beautiful view on the pier after the spectacular view from above, this village is absolutely lovely! I like the shadow on the ground, perfect to create a nice 3D effect, and the full view in the WS is very sharp despite the distance till to the wind farm,i like it! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

I love the mood of this photo, a sunny day at the end of winter, when only few people have already decided to get out and enjoy the warmth the sun has regained. Excellent composition, the railing is well included and adds a very attractive shadow too.

Beautiful shadows here, and I like the way they line the whole pier. I also like the shade of blue used for different things, like some of the benches and the railings. You captured those people in a perfect spot to make the scene even more attractive, too. It's a nice, sunny view. :-)

first of all, is that Len we see? haha
easy to see why you'd want to post this one, the iron fence is fantastic, but to add in the shadows only makes it that much more attractive. the overall lighting and exposure, the sharpness, the depth of the scene and the blue color tones throughout make it all work. sweet shot, i like this one.

Well framed, good effect with these shadows and these people, a well balanced composition.
