Photographer's Note

Taken in our street in Lanark today on an absolutely beautiful morning, (temperature -12°C) after a moderate snowfall yesterday. In fact, yesterday North Lanarkshire, where I work, had very heavy falls of snow and traffic around Glasgow, Hamilton and Motherwell ground to a complete halt. Lanark was somewhat spared but nevertheless all but the major roads were virtually impassable.

Fabulous low morning sun brightened up the scene although it remained bitterly cold.

Shot in RAW using a polarising filter and converted and processed in PSE6.
