Photographer's Note

Second picture in the series and an opposite view of the Fort Augustus lock-system that connect the Loch-Ness, from elevation of 16m above sea-level on the far side here, through the Caledonian-canal to Loch-Oich which is elevated from sea level by 32 meters.
This entry to the canal located at the most south-west tip of Loch-Ness, 57.14505, -4.6808 on the map.
Autumn colors around provided a magnificent backdrop to the lock-action.

Added a WS which shows action at the lock and the water flow and lift the boat within.
