Photographer's Note

Portree, the capital of the Isle-of-Skye, has this iconic painted houses on the quay. Late afternoon picture, almost a blue hour.
The bay is 57.4115, -6.191 on the map.

Some 38% of approx. 2500 Portree's population can speak Scottish Gaelic, they call their town Port Rìgh translates as "king's port", possibly from a visit by King James V of Scotland in 1540 (source from Wikipedia).

Technical's: RAW converted into JPEG, 16:9 aspect ratio, F6.3, exp. 1/50, ISO400.
Instead of a tripod placed the camera on a ledge.
*** I reckon the scene is a bit too dark, but did not want to elevate manually the illumination-curve on PP, it would ruin the texture altogether. Will post a day-time photo on the bay in due time.
