Photographer's Note

This image was made during our decent into Glasgow, Scotland. We were at 35,000 or so, and the sun was just beginning to break over the horizon. I put my jacket over my head to block out the interior lights and reflections and then waited for lulls in the tubulance because I was hand holding the camera with a medium telephoto and 50 asa Fuji film.

It amazes me how many people don't look out the aircraft window when they are travelling.

This image is from my ancient flatbed scanner, so there are some artifacts and issues witht the quality.
