Photographer's Note

Colors of Edinburgh comprise brown/orange tints of bricks, grey/black palette of roofs and churches, usually accompanied with a dull sky. The billboard seems to be there to remind the locals the liveliness of colors.

Old Town Edinburgh is today a top rated tourist attraction and is being much advertised by its ghosts, ghouls, dungeons and other gothic elements. Its turbulent history is full of tales of horror and terror which mainly compirse graveyard diggers, body snatchers, pirates, witches and witchcraft, plague, burnings on the stake, beheadings, hangings, gore, torment and torture of every kind and blood and blood and blood.

Those buildings, many of them said to be haunted by ghosts, were witnesses to all those colorful days, and Edinburgers are now telling all these stories with witty humor and mockery (what kinda' grandfathers we had!).
