Photographer's Note

Which one is watching, the one that's been there for over a century, or the quick glance?

Taken at EskMills a refurbished former fishing net manufacturer which now houses offices, a fantastic restaurant called the glasshouse (which is just that), and an art gallery.

I was here for the viewing of a show by some artists that included one of my friends.

As well as the building here there were paper mills, textiles and the famous Brunton’s wire works at one time. Now it is much more up market.

There are some fabulous sculptures on this facade, as well as the lion's head.
