Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I will just have a short break from my Italian trip to share a couple of photographs from home. We had a lovely Indian summer, with some fine, sunny days but this morning it is grey and misty, with a forecast of much colder weather.

Whilst it was sunny, we took a few walks around the neighbourhood with out cameras. This photograph is a close-up of our Victorian pissoir. For those not familiar with the name, it is a gentleman's toilet!( Sorry to those who love to see figures in a photograph ... it wouldn't have been appropriate!º

It is a very historic relic. It was built over a century ago when the drivers of the horse drawn buses needed to have a break!

It has been carefully renovated recently, not for the use of the present bus drivers but because it is a rare, historic feature

I was attracted by the extended shadows, seeming like a long-armed robot.

I will add a w/s here to reveal the pissoir in its entirety.

Have a lovely Sunday, Bev :-)
