Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I wonder what you will make of this modern art which I photographed in Durham Cathedral. I just loved the overlapping lines and the different geometric shapes that were produced.
Compare it with this from the art museum at Otterlo.

I am not really being flip. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The one in Otterlo was worth thousands of pounds; this modern sculpture was completely free.

I will add a more conventional but still modern sculpture from the cathedral as a workshop. It is Pieta by Fenwick Lawson.

I hope you have a lovely day. Here, the wind has dropped, at last, and the sun is shining at last, Bev :-)
