Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Please click on this link to get the true effect of the clouds and the setting. It is so much better!

It's not surprising that the Lake District has a high rainfall; that is where the lakes come from!

On the day that I took this photograph, the day had started bright and sunny and we were walking with friends through St John's in the Vale when the whole sky suddenly changed and black clouds descended!

We needed to alter the settings on our cameras but I couldn't help thinking that the scene was still beautiful despite the storm threat!

Don't feel too sorry for us, we didn't get drenched, the clouds passed over and eventually the sun returned. Maybe some other poor walkers got a surprise shower further down the valley!!!

I hope you have a lovely day, Bev :-)
