Photographer's Note

Wettswil, a small town near Zurich, stands out for its good biodiversity, despite intensive work for the new motorway bypass (1996–2008). Holes due to the excavation of the old brick factory (that stopped its operation in 1931), were they slowly filled with rainwater and constitute today a beautiful ponds that contribute to the bio diversity of the region.
