Photographer’s Note
Laga beach is part of the Urdaibai Estuary. This space was declared Biosphere Reservation in 1989, with the specific regulation regime oriented towards preserving its natural values and regulating the use of its resources. The areas of special value are the marshes, cliffs, dune enclaves and the Cantabrian holm oak groves.
The marshes existing in Urdaibai of the most extensive and best conserved in the Basque Coast. Urdaibai as a whole as an excellent rioting of habitats and phytocenosis, some representations of which are exceptional in character. The marshy habitat and its specific communities reach in this space the first-class development, both in terms of diversity and in extension, covering a very complete range from the most saline to freshwater environments.
In Laga Beach, subjected to intense tourism, there is a small representation of vegetation adapted to accumulations of coastal sands, which is quite exceptional in the Basque Coast.

Hola Mirari:
Siempre he deseado tener la oportunidad de realizar una toma de este tipo, donde las estelas blancas de las olas, hacen un contraste perfecto con las arenas oscuras de la playa.
Una imagen armonica, donde la composición con los caminantes, destaca altamente.

Querido amigo, gracias por tu primer comentario a mis fotos.
He vivido en España once años (Tudela-Navarra) porque mi madre era española,y volvimos en Italia quando mi abuelo materno muriò.
Cuando era pequeño ibamos a veranear en Deva en la Vascongadas, y asì esta playa me recuerda mucho los años de niño.
Muy bien tomada con las personas y el perro que dan grande perspectiva.
Excelente nitidez.

One of your now classic high-viewpoint beach scenes. I think it works very well with the figures in the corner and the bright squiggly line at the edge of the surf. The low lighting makes it very atmospheric. I've been to the Urdaibai estuary several times (but always when sunny) and I must say it's a very beautiful and fascinating place.
