Lovely use of B&W. Artistic shot.
The steps in the BG with shadow on the face and light
on each step adds to your shot. Yes, good achievement.
It is a classic moment frozen in time :)

I just browsed through your gallery and I'm really intrigued by your photos. There's a great sense of aesthetics and the compositions are great.
